Coloreel partners with Hand & Lock
Coloreel partners with world leading specialist embroidery house Hand & Lock.
Hand & Lock traces its history back to 1767 serving to the embroidery and embellishment needs of the Royal Family, top European design houses, the Royal Armed Forces, Savile Row and members of the public.
Coloreel has installed one of its instant thread coloring units in Hand & Lock's central London atelier to enable their team to explore the new design possibilities made possible by Coloreel's technology with the ambition to produce more creative embroideries and designs not possible to produce before.
Since 2001 the Hand & Lock have promoted a programme of embroidery education and encouragement by creating the annual ‘Hand & Lock Prize for Embroidery’ and establishing the ‘Hand & Lock School for Embroidery.
This year's prize coincided with the annual Embroidery Arts Exhibition in London. An exhibition open to the public showcasing selected prize entries including this years's prizewinners and the studio itself.
To launch the partnership, Coloreel was in attendance with its innovative technology and demonstrated it live on site for hundreds of embroidery professionals and enthusiasts.
It's just the beginning of this exciting partnership and both parties are looking forward to seeing what they can create together. Make sure to follow along the journey by following Coloreel and Hand Lock on Instagram.
